From the Past to the Present

From the Past to the Present is a photography series that takes inspiration from the narratives of Shirley Jackson and the photographic theory of Susan Sontag. Through a blend of photography and collage, the project interweaves moments in time, allowing the past and the present to coexist within a single frame. The series investigates ghosthood, and the ways in which objects and photographs can capture and preserve time. Loss, memory and transience are key themes, explored visually.
